Hello Family and Friends
On Tuesday President Makasi called us and asked if it would be okay if his daughter Anesu, could come to the area with Sister Jabanga and I. She is 13 years old, and she reminds me of Melissa. It made me happy to have her work with us, and let her have some experiences with missionaries. While we were with her, we went to a new farm call Chabwino Farm. The people who stay there are all teachers from a nearby school. They are all educated, and speak English well (score!) We found three new people. There names are Monica, Dianna, and Priscilla. They all stay at different houses, but I really have faith for Chabwino. The people there are powerful!
Owen, Joseph, Susan, and Nelisha were all baptized! We kinda had water problems at first, so we were worried that it wouldn't happen. Heavenly Father answered our prayers, and the tap started running water. We took buckets from another faucet, too! We were bound and determined that they would be baptized. All of them have been waiting some time to be baptized. Susan and Nelisha met and were taught by missionaries previously, and the same thing with Joseph. Owen was so excited, and so ready. It was such a happy day!
I really don't have much to report, but it was a good week, and I am still doing fine!
Love you SO MUCH!
Love, Sister Kershaw
